COMPANY / Safety

The safety record at Miner-Dederick Construction, LLP is something we are very proud of. In 2009 we worked more than 142,228 hours and our ratio of lost time injuries to hours worked was 0% with an experience modifier of .95.

Safety at Miner-Dederick is not a corporate goal, it is a requirement. The safety and health of our personnel, as well as the protection of property, the general public and the environment are of utmost importance. To this end, we have written our safety manual, which is available for your review, to address all of the requirements of OSHA as they apply to the construction industry and to provide a guideline to our workforce. We have a full time safety director on staff who conducts daily jobsite inspections and works to provide safety training courses on a weekly basis. Continuing education and training is vital to keeping our workforce free from injuries and our safety manual is supplemented by videos and training provided by safety professionals from the AGC and other outside sources.

Our safety director, Arthur Miller, administers the Miner-Dederick safety program.
